Congregational Retreat 2026
This winter, we’ll be gathering together as an entire church for our first Congregational Retreat in 8 years! The retreat will be from Friday 1/30 - Sun 2/1 at the Michindoh Conference Center.
The theme of this year’s retreat is Make Room. What would it look like if we came together as a church to set apart a weekend for God? God desires to bless us, but are we making ourselves available to receive those blessings in full? This retreat will provide a time for us to step away from the noises and distractions of our daily lives to make room and create space for God to move in our lives. Together as a church, we will seek to go deeper in obedience and devotion to the Lord as we slow down to listen and respond to His presence.

Retreat Overview
- The Congregational Retreat will begin approximately 7 PM on Friday (1/30). The retreat will end at approximately 3 PM on Sunday (2/1). Please note, travel time to/from Michindoh is not included in those start & end times.
- What To Bring: Bible, journal & pen, clothes for 3 days/2 nights including outdoor activities in the cold, sleeping bags/blankets, pillow, toiletries. Note: for married couples/families, bedding (sheet, blanket, pillow) will be provided for each member of your party but please feel free to bring your own if that is best for you.
- Meals provided: Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner; Sunday Breakfast & Lunch

Additional Details
- Forms of payment accepted: Online (via Planning Center) with credit card
- Registration closes at 11:59PM on Fri, 1/16. You will not be able to register after this date.
- If you need to cancel your registration, please contact retreats@annarbor.hmcc.net. Please note that there is a $25 non-refundable deposit and all cancellations after 1/16 are completely non-refundable.
- Registration price is dependent on the time of payment, NOT the time of registration. For example, if you register during regular registration, but pay during late registration, you must pay the late registration price.
- Paid registration fees are not transferable to other persons.
- If you have registered via Planning Center previously for a retreat with us, please use the same email address, so that you don’t need to create a new account.
Transportation
Transportation will be organized for those who are in undergrad ministry and Impact. Those in Focus, Covenant, Lat/Vel, Building Blocks will need to organize rides on their own but feel free to reach out to your LGs.
- UG and Impact students must go to the pickup location you chose when you registered.
- Departure time will be at 5:00PM on Friday 1/30. You will be contacted with information regarding your departure time. Please arrive at your pickup location promptly on Friday 1/30.
- Departure locations are at South Quad on Monroe Street, Stockwell (Front Entrance facing Observatory Street), 1015 E Ann St and Bursley (Front Entrance).
- Please do not arrange your own rides. Contact rides@annarbor.hmcc.net if you have extenuating circumstances.
- If you cannot make the departure locations by the appointed time, please contact rides@annarbor.hmcc.net.

You must make payment at the time you register for the retreat. You will not be able to register without making payment.

You are able to receive a refund for the retreat on or before 1/16. However, there will be a $25 non-refundable deposit for all cancellations. We encourage you to discuss with your Life Group leader before you consider canceling your registration. If you would like to proceed with obtaining a refund, please email retreats@annarbor.hmcc.net.
