Many people may say that they have faith, but the word has endless meanings and implications. The objects that people put faith in, the way that they live it out, and the effects of their faith on daily life may differ greatly from one person to the next. With so any objects and expressions of faith, how do we live out a genuine faith in Christ that impacts the world? In this series, we will journey through the book of James to learn how to have a faith that works. | Part 4: Active Faith June 28, 2009 | P. Andrew Jun | Part 3: Loving Faith June 21, 2009 | P. How often does Christianity seem like a chore, a routine, an obligation or like yesterday's news? If we're honest with ourselves, there are many times our faith fizzles, our relationship with Christ becomes stale, and we stop expecting Him to do great things in our lives or those around us. Sometimes we need a fresh take on the Gospel, on God's love and on our calling to follow him. In this series, we will learn about what we can do to pump our hearts and minds up as we refresh and deepen our intimacy with Him. | Part 4: On Prayer May 31, 2009 | P. Missio Christi is Latin for the "mission of Christ." After Jesus Christ rose from the grave, he appeared to the disciples and commissioned them to continue his mission as people sent by God to declare the gospel to the world. Today, that same calling applies to all who believe in Christ; no matter where life leads us, we are called to be involved in missions and the world. In this one-part sermon, we will study this mission that Christ gave us. and learn how to live it out in a way that will transform the world. | Missio Christi May 3, 2009 | P. Andrew Jun |

If there's one thing we see throughout Jesus' life, it's the shock factor. We see how He inverted all paradigms: He was the eternal God who became mortal man, the holy King who spent his time with the scum of society, the teacher who said that it's better to give than to receive, to be hated than to be loved, to deny self for others. In this series, we will learn how this scandalous, counter-cultural life changed the course of eternity and continues to transform our lives today as we follow in His footsteps. | Part 3: Insider to Outsider April 26, 2009 | P.
