Background: The Lee’s have been in Kenya for a little bit over a year. 18 years have passed since Dr. Steve and Betty first traveled overseas for a short-term missions trip. Dr. Steve has had an opportunity to preach at most of the churches in the area, developing relationships with many of the local congregations and their pastors, and setting the stage for further ministries such as pastor's training seminars.

Kapsowar Hospital has also been expanding its ministry in different areas such as mobile clinics and a comprehensive HIV/AIDS program. Betty helps her husbandin his ministry as well as home-schooling their five children.
