Christina Kim Interview
Pastor Seth and his family moved to Ann Arbor in the summer of 1996 with the vision of planting a church that would be used by God to "transform lost people into Christ's disciples who will then transform the world." Pastor Seth graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1992, and received his call into full-time ministry while serving as a member of a gospel praise band during his undergraduate years.
After college, Pastor Seth attended seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL while also working as a youth pastor at a local church for four years. Pastor Seth completed his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degree in 1995 and 1997 respectively. Currently he is receiving his doctoral degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
In the summer of 1996, Pastor Seth and his wife, Christina, got married and settled down in Ann Arbor. They now have two sons, Josiah and Elliot, and a daughter, Karissa.
Pastor Andrew Interview

Pastor Andrew joined HMCC when he moved to Ann Arbor for graduate school in August 1998 after completing his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Over the years, he grew a passion for missions and evangelism. He graduated in May 2007 from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity degree.
Pastor Andrew met his wife, Nicole Yoo, at HMCC, and they were married in December 2006. Nicole is a middle school teacher in Detroit, and is working toward a Masters degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Pastor Andrew oversees the Global Access international ministry and the campus ministries. His hobbies include birding, reading, watching DVDs, and spending time with Nicole.
Pastor Pete joined HMCC after receiving Christ through a small group in January of 2000. Since then, he has led small groups and ministry teams, as well as serving as a church coordinator and director of programming. He currently oversees the Impact graduate student ministry.
While serving at HMCC, Pastor Pete has developed a passion for discipleship and building a multi-ethnic church. He studied philosophy at the University of Michigan and graduated in 2003.
In addition to serving as an associate pastor at HMCC, Pastor Pete works for the U of M Health System as a web developer, and is studying part-time toward his Master of Divinity degree.
Pastor Ben Interview
Susan Kim Interview
Pastor Ben has been a member of HMCC ever since the church first started. Over the years the Lord has placed within him a passion for teaching believers how to mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ and training them up to be Christ-like servant-leaders.
He moved to Ann Arbor in the fall of 1996 to pursue a Masters degree in Public Health after receiving his undergrad degree in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. It was as he served as a small group leader and church coordinator at HMCC for four years that he received God's call to go into full-time ministry.
Since then, Pastor Ben received a Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He married Susan Kim, who had also grown and served as a small group leader and coordinator in HMCC during her undergrad years and beyond. They have one son, Isaiah, and are are now serving full time at HMCC.

Pastor Jimmy has been a member of HMCC ever since the first year of the church in 1996, when he was a freshman at the University of Michigan. Since then, he has served at HMCC as a small group leader, church coordinator and has also participated in missions projects to Mexico and Peru.
Through the years, God has been developing in him a passion for the local church and world missions. He studied economics and sociology while at the U of M and graduated in 2000.
In addition to serving on staff at HMCC, Pastor Jimmy is currently working towards his Master of Divinity degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Pastor Peter got involved in HMCC of Chicago in November 2006 during the first year of the church plant. It was here that God reaffirmed convictions he received while he was an undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Upons graduation in 2004 he continued his education at the Moody Bible Institute while serving as a youth pastor.
Since then a burden for the Gospel to has grown in his heart for the campus, the church and unreached countries. Through this God led him to join staff at HMCC in January 2008. Shortly after he received his Master of Divinity in May 2008.
Pastor Peter's main focus will be the UIC site of HMCC. He also looks to minister through his part time job at a cafe right next to the campus.
