Church-wide Ministries

Building Blocks
Luke 9:48 says, "Whoever receives this child in my name receives me." Our mission is to lay a biblical foundation that will lead children to Christ, preparing them to share their faith. We believe that you can never be too young to start a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through weekly child care offered during Sunday Celebration, we are able to strengthen relationships not only with these precious children, but also with their parents their families.


Medical Outreach
Med Outreach is comprised of professionals, graduate and undergraduate students who are working and studying in various healthcare programs including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, social work and public health. As a ministry, we use our healthcare training to serve and encourage different neighborhoods in the Ann Arbor area, meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of community.


Women's Ministry
The women of HMCC take our calling to be world- changers quite seriously. Though we live in a world that feeds us intense and conflicting definitions of being a successful woman, it is our vision to live out God's design for women as we seek to make a difference in the lives of people around us.

Our desire is to build strong Foundations through a growing relationship with Jesus, to have Accountability through our friendships and mentoring/ discipleship relationships, to Influence by reaching out and touching the lives around us, to be Trained in the biblical truths of what it means to be a woman, and to be Healed and restored to wholeness as we fix our eyes on the cross. We hope to become women of FAITH who live out our destinies in radical ways.


Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry is committed to raising a generation of Christ-like men who will grow in their relationship with God and impact the home, the church, and the world. By addressing struggles specific to the lives of men, we desire to bridge the gap between our culture and the church as well as build a sense of belonging and brotherhood in Christ.

We want to exemplify Christ's example and leadership by learning to serve our families, church, and community. It is our mission to go into the world with the Gospel message and guard it from injustice and falsehood. We trust that God will transform the men in our church to then be used to transform the world.


Global Access
With the influx of students from all across the world at the University of Michigan, our Global Access ministry responds to the overwhelming need to reach out to the international community. In line with the overall vision of the church, we seek to share the gospel with students from all over the world, disciple them to be Christ-followers, and see them return to their home countries to be effective witnesses. Global Access allows HMCC to expand our network as many students return to their countries and maintain the relationship globally.

Our international life group serves as "home away from home" for many international students who seek family-like friendships in Ann Arbor. Many students come from countries where Christianity is irrelevant, it is our desire to present and implant the Gospel in the context of our unique biblical community. Through Global Access, we hope that international students from anywhere in the world could come and share life together.
